Vector Maker is engineered with a strict privacy-first architecture. All image tracing, vector path simplification, and embroidery digitizing execute directly on your local device without sending your creative files to remote servers.
1. Zero-Server Vector Processing (Client-Side WASM)
Vector Maker operates on a zero-server computation model. When you upload or drag and drop an image (PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, or BMP) into our studio, the file is read directly into your web browser's active memory.
All core mathematical operations—including high-contrast thresholding, Potrace vector tracing, Bezier path smoothing, living hinge kerf compensation, boolean single-pass closed loop welding, and Tajima DST stitch digitizing—are executed client-side via compiled WebAssembly (WASM) modules and the HTML5 Canvas API.
Your artwork, trade-secret sketches, client monograms, and generated cut files are never uploaded, persisted, analyzed, or transmitted to Vector Maker servers, cloud databases, or AI training sets.
2. Data We Collect
We adhere to strict data minimization principles. We do not require accounts or logins for standard conversions. The only data collected includes:
- Anonymous Web Analytics: Aggregated, privacy-friendly visit metrics (page views, referring domain, browser device family). We do not employ persistent invasive tracking cookies or cross-site fingerprinting.
- Local Daily Export Quota: To provide free daily conversions, your browser maintains a simple counter timestamp in
localStorage. This timestamp never leaves your device and cannot identify you personally.
3. Payment Processing (Stripe)
When you purchase export credits, single passes, or commercial packs, transactions are securely handled by our authorized payment gateway, Stripe.
Vector Maker never sees, accesses, logs, or stores your payment card numbers, security codes (CVV), or billing account credentials. All payment processing complies with strict PCI-DSS Level 1 standards.
4. Commercial Rights & Intellectual Property
You retain 100% of all intellectual property, copyright, and trademark rights in the images you process and the vector and stitch files produced.
Vector Maker asserts zero claim of ownership, license, or royalties on your output. You are fully authorized to sell physical products (such as vinyl decals, laser-cut wooden signs, apparel, and embroidered goods) or distribute digital vectors created using our tools with zero attribution required.
